Molly the Attack Dog!!

So there was quite a ruckus going on tonight and I had to investigate to see what was the matter. Apparently Molly has grown into her protective "shoes" and found her big girl "voice". I was laying down when all Hell broke loose and the dog was barking like we were being invaded! I ran out to see what was the matter and nobody seemed disturbed or even aware of what was going on. It seems that this has happened before...and eventually Molly calms down when she realizes that her enemy and foe cannot get out of the fireplace!
She's been going crazy and barking like a banshee at her own reflection in the glass. There was no calming her down until the reflection goes away...or in other words, she walks away! But the 10lb canine barks like a 100lb vixen on a rampage when provoked!
The sweet thing has finally got a little zest in her that's coming out. The kids are figuring out that they need to put their shoes, coats, and toys away.
Nothing is sacred and no one is spared from her interest. Even Dad's shoe is an easy target when it's left unattended, and it's almost as big as she is.
New trick? Molly likes to roll the carpets up. She thinks it's a game to see how fast she can pull up the sides and burrow herself inside. She runs and leaps like a gazelle and is as fast as a bullet. She's hilarious with her antics and "snatch and run" mentality.
You've heard the phrase: mi casa, su casa..."my house, your house". I think Molly is in the same frame of mind. She doesn't like being left in the hall. She's definitely a "Su bed, mi bed" kind of dog...and she's not happy till she's with her girls.
She likes to come up and lay on her side--wanting you to rub her tummy. She loves to sleep on the registers when warm air is blowing through. Her ears have finally risen to the occasion and they don't droop anymore. She's four and a half months old...and it feels like she's been a part of the family for years.
She likes peanut butter, pupperoni, and coca-cola. (No coke--but that doesn't stop her from asking for one or thinking that she'll like it). She's done with all her shots, been micro chipped, and wears a cute red tag with her name on it. Molly is every one's baby and playmate. She is Cameron's first chest hair, Nathan's most effective dose of "medicine', Braden's chow hound companion, Ashley's wardrobe accessory, and Jessica's dolly.
This entry is dedicated to Nathan--because he keeps asking for pictures of his Molly to fawn over at the hospital. And being that he's checking out the blog everyday to see what few pictures there are of the dog, this will ensure that he has a few more to enjoy :) Love, Mom
