All the saving paid off...Cameron is now the proud owner of his own lawn mower. His dad chipped in the extra $$ to get him the creme-dela-creme mower. With our hills, he definitely needed some extra power under the motor and an electric start. He got it home and immediately mowed the yard. When he left for the 6-day encampment, he was adamant that no one else was allowed to use it...as if there was a line outside the garage door!
We figured that we get the first couple of mows for free...and then we'll pay him to mow the front yard. He'll recoup his savings in no time at all! He should have enough to buy a trailer to haul his equipment around by the time he's 16.
