Sunday at Dave and Jan's

Nathan and I flew into St Louis on Saturday, May 4th.  We arrived at 2:30pm and had to wait for Dad to arrive with the other 4 kids at 4pm.  Then it was on to Aunt Gale's and Great-grandma's house to meet up with the rest of the Eiberts'--who had arrived on May 2nd.

Aunt Gale had lists of all our planned activities on the kitchen cabinets.  There was something planned for every single day!  Talk about 12 days of moving and shaking!!  We started by having a huge family dinner at Dave and Jan's house in St. Clair.  It was a beautiful drive through the Ozarks. It was raining and we were teased about bringing the Seattle weather with us.

After our feast....we had the most amazing assortment of desserts!  The boys were first in line to try Jan's Chiffon cake, Jell-O Poke cake and Lemon yogurt pound cake.  (I'll be getting some recipes later ;)

Dave showed us the most incredible Murphy bed he built in their guest room and gave us a cool table that he built for us!

We had a good laugh about the sign that hung on their kitchen wall!  It made the kids wonder how Molly was doing without them.  So I texted Lisa to find out....and got these pictures back.  Only one day into the trip and they were missing home the dog already!
